Team India defeated lacklustre England by nine wicket to win the 4th ODI and also the five-match series 3-0. It was one-way traffic all the way. After the bowlers skittled the visitors out for the third time in as many games, Rahane and Dhawan combined well to set up India's best partnership outside the sub-continent in 5 years. They built the innings steadily by knocking the ball around into the gaps before cranking up to top gear. While, Rahane relied more on timing and power, it was more brawn from Dhawan, who got to his first fifty of this tour. Jinks, guilty of slicing a full toss to extra-cover, was unfortunate to have not seen his side through to the finish line. Dhawan landed the winning blow, inside 31 overs to trigger wild celebrations in the Indian camp. The English bowlers looked out of sorts. Finn was lightyears away from the bowler, who burst onto the international stage with scorching pace. Even more glaring was Anderson going wicket-less for the third successive time.
Shikhar Dhawan is all smiles as he misses out on his 6th ODI ton by a mere three runs. Virat Kohli walks up and congratulates him. On the contrary, the English camp resembles a disgruntled group. What an emphatic win from India. I guess, it can't get better than this.
